Reflection Hello, my name is Christina and I’m glad you can make it out today. Many of you are new parents that are trying to learn more about their child so, this why I am here. In this one-hour class I will be discussing the stages in early development and the key points of each early development stage. If you have any questions, please feel free to raise your hand during or after the lecture. During this time I want to make sure new parents gain understanding of the content and walk away knowing more than you did when you walked in. Content The stages of early development start with infancy, toddler period, preschool period, school years, adolescence and transitioning to adulthood (Parritz, R. H. Troy, M. F. 2017). Most people in this class are new parents of a newborn and I hope I was able to provide you with key points of each stage physical, social and emotional that will affect overall development with a young children and adults.
